Pioneer II gives you the opportunity to experience the fun and adventure of a camping holiday with accessible facilities to support maximum comfort and participation. We are completely volunteer run and provide a companion to help support your needs throughout the week.
The week's activities vary each year to keep Pioneer II exciting, with everything based around a theme we will pick for the week. The theme for 2026 is ‘Festivals’ and there will be lots of different activities and entertainment, showcasing as many of the world’s different festivals as possible in just 7 days.
In past years we have gone water skiing, visited Thorpe Park and Hampton Court. We have had evenings at Windsor Races, bowling alleys and even spent days at the seaside.
On site we benefit from the bespoke facilities of Woodlarks Campsite, with multiple acres of beautiful woodland an onsite pool and other amazing spaces.
Even the rain won’t stop us using our fabulous onsite pool!

“Pioneer Two is such an amazing camp, despite the washing up! Everyone contributes so much joy and energy into the atmosphere. All the campers are well looked after and cared for by the helpers, regardless of ability or age. The camp food is truly gastric! Where else would you get to eat ice-cream and Yorkshire pudding? Everyone at Pioneer II is as my family to me.”
